Vision and Mission

Primary Teachers Training Center (PTI) — the main institution providing training to primary school teachers in Bangladesh — has a specific vision and mission, which serves as a focal point for improving the quality of primary education.


Below are the vision and mission of PTI:

“To develop efficient, ideal, technology-enabled and child-centered teachers who are capable of ensuring student-friendly and inclusive primary education.”


Or in short:

“To develop skilled teachers to ensure quality primary education.”


🎯 Mission:

To ensure subject-based, psychology-based and learning strategy-based training.


💻 To maintain technology-based and modern training methods


To create digital content, multimedia classrooms, and online training facilities.


📚 Develop and implement effective curricula and modules for teachers


Implement modern training modules in light of the National Education Policy.


🧑‍🏫 Ensure a collaborative and participatory training environment


Develop leadership, communication and coordination skills among trainees.


📈 Evaluate and follow up on the effectiveness of training


Provide real-world classroom observation, feedback and retraining after training.
